On page 13 Watson quotes extensively from a description of what a mill worker’s life was like as found in the trade journal Fibre and Fabric. Provide your own description of a mill worker’s life of roughly equal length to the "Fibre and Fabric" one.
As we did with Sarah’s Long Walk, pick from among the many characters that populate Watson’s book and describe one activity in which you would teach his/her biography in your classroom. In so doing briefly highlight that person’s role in the strike and how his/her role affected the strike’s outcome.
